Bart Groeneweg graduated as a Clinical Pedagogue in 1983. Subsequently, Bart worked for more than 10 years in performance practice. In addition to providing assistance, he also carried out scientific practical research during this period and obtained his PhD on the subject: Children of Drug Addicted Parents. After this he started working for an employers’ organisation, after which he became director/administrator of the Bureaus Jeugdzorg Haaglanden en Zuid-Holland (Youth Care Offices Haaglanden and Zuid-Holland).

After a period of freelance work, he became a member of the Board of Directors of Trajectum. Here he gained a lot of experience with the treatment of people with a mild mental handicap and serious problem behavior, often under a judicial title (including TBS).

Over the past few years, Bart has been active in various fields, especially for clients in the mental healthcare sector. As a member of the board of the Depression Association, he is actively involved in many projects. At neuroCare, Bart will use his extensive network in the health care sector as an advisor in order to increase awareness of the treatment methods of neuroCare. In addition to his work at neuroCare, Bart has a number of other activities, such as membership of the board of Akwa (the new knowledge institute GGZ) and director ad interim at the CCE (consultation and expertise in healthcare).
