Tara obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Neuroscience at Maastricht University, after which she completed her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Utrecht University. She has been working as a psychologist since 2018. She has since worked with clients with various problems, including psychogeriatrics and somatic complaints, Korsakov, children with dyslexia and adults with an autism spectrum disorder, sometimes in combination with ADHD, anxiety or depressive complaints. Both diagnostics and treatment were part of her tasks for each target group.
During her bachelor she developed an affinity for neuromodulation techniques, as much attention is paid to this at UM. Here, however, the knowledge remained theoretical in nature. During her master thesis, carried out at the UMC Utrecht, she has experienced how this is used and interpreted by conducting EEGs.
